Lighting Lab - Quick Fixes
This collection showcases a series of rapid UX/UI design challenges where I push myself to solve problems within tight timeframes. Each piece highlights my ability to think quickly, adapt under pressure, and approach challenges with creativity. Together, they offer a glimpse into my design process, problem-solving mindset, and how I bring ideas to life
Cinemark
Japanese movie ticket stubs are highly sought-after collectibles, known for their unique designs and artistic quality. What if movie theaters went back to making them now that everything is digital? What if after your ticket is scanned, it becomes an NFT? I took an afternoon to explore how unique ticket stubs would work in the Cinemark app. Signing up for their free rewards membership would allow users to track and collect these unique stubs during promotional times.

Fairgame
As an avid golfer, I use a variety of golf apps. Fairgame is an app where they incorporate score keeping and a social community. After using the app for a year, I noticed that advanced score keeping such as putts and fairways were hidden under "My Stats". In a quick 30 minutes, I moved this information to the front of scorekeeping so other users like myself won't miss out on additional stat tracking. This change keeps the app in parody with its competition and drives social interactions based on recorded stats.

Splitcart
Splitcart is a seamless group payment solution that enables customers to split costs at the point of checkout. I took 30 minutes to redesign the experience when viewing multiple card groups. User experience could improve from distinguishing between groups, viewing the percentage of the goal, or viewing who and what has contributed. Hopefully more to come! :)

Workday - Problem
Workday uses instances that require users to create new passwords for each instance. This makes it hard for users to keep up with each instance even with password managers and can result in abandoned applications before they even start. I not only thought about how to fix the job application experience, but how would Workday look to fix this issue. This took 1 hour.
Third Party Authentication
Using third party sign in is not only a common tactic across the internet, but it allows a third party to host user credentials and simply allow Workday to authenticate. The third party can be Gmail or even Workday themselves. This will allow users to have a single point of entry regardless of the Workday instance.

Workday host single sign on authentication
Workday could implement a single sign on implementation that allows any user with a Workday account access to any instance. By creating a simple profile page, Workday can list out users information as well as a list of all of their instances as "Connections" for easy access. While this would mean more work for Workday, it would create an easier experience for users to access instance all across the globe under one password.

Results
I estimate that giving users options on a faster, easier and safer login experience would decrease bounce rate on applications and increase satisfaction on user survey's on the application process.
